Dadburn County Barn Sculpture




Floating Memories



Grandpa
moved away. Cows
bawl sunset regrets. His
broad shoulders can't hold what
time took from him.







I met an artist of the plains in October. Eye heard her

Dakota Whisper


Cream blue
overhead. Wheat. Barns.
Spell bound prairie wind brushed
snow blown canvas paint narrations
Swish swash


and saw the pictures of a barn changing roles.
Fallen timber, rising spirit.
