1-900-poetics/ when good words go bad

Writer's Block

building a ladder to my literature
from Let Me Write Words Of Desire Across Your Plane
hotinbuffalo.poetry.blog (Dec 19, 2005 ff.)

carefully crafted come-ons
1-900-amI-HOTT masquerade
Words of Amherst fantasy
projected lust prayers
left unconsummated
Afraid to test cyclic rhythms
like couplets of slant rhyme

- 2 -
A Dickinsonian
hyper hyphen holding
her humming helpless—
line breaks taken
to places she never goes

- 3 -
on s mono portic
self manipulated acrostic
Originating with imagination
Rising to a climax
Giving pleasure
And
Satisfaction
My muse

- 4 -
Used an itinerant s impersonating a
to disrupt the word sound humming
bumped fingers right
rippling through to poetic redoing
Pull out that r
Slip in the e that lies silent in blue
Give back its music melody
Expose u hiding behind bl
That bl constraining the writer’s title ending
Take away the two letter blending
Let the beginning become a wordy mouthful
u can c 2 yourself
when bl is blown away
and the acrostic suggestion repeats
the vowels in ink and uru
on r mono poetic word foreplay
Marvel Universe re-writing

-5-
Oh power comic concubine
Denizen of the NYC fringe snow belt
Come with me
To the haunts of Dr Strange
ad hominem degenerate
Satyr depictor
Tempt him with your erotic ruse
before pornography returns
and bares its bestial avatar in the cosmic comment village

-6-
blue block blown
nock down queue
While you lie with words
eye push the buttons
1-900-ura-hot1
only a mouse click away—
scrolling toward a little death la Boheme
this Christmas night
