The world appears more interesting when you live more than half way to the pole. Different voices too.

False Promises from the Gift Economy

Nevermore, Never-the-less Out of the Ordinary

Reading bad poetry is like free porn
It takes no imagination
The goods is all covered with ad words
J-pegs stuck up with cliché
These sites must have vegan roots
This stuff stinks
Like overcooked kohl slaw
Predictable rhyme
Anatomical parts like sad hearts
Some artificially enhanced boob repetitions
Immature climax syntax
Portraying “love” mechanically
Under sized vocabulary where pronouns
Lose there antecedents
Like fried LCDs on a small screen

Who cares if the bottom lines don’t balance
It’s not a complete waste
Gets the mind in condition
Prepared for country FM radio lyrics
Online Hip Hop rhythms
The spice of MSN and Prime Time News
Takes the eye off of IQ
Puts the ewe in sleep
Makes People Magazine into chic lit
Remix BVD rerun out-takes
Become the light weights for new movies
Based on “Spam, I am” poetry
Streamed to you on a Google suggestion
Proving that voodoo economic principle
You get what you wouldn’t pay for.

How ever out of context with reality,
The daughter of invention is forever—
The Promethean spark that jumps the gap
Burns the fuel of the past,
creates miracles from ignominy, and
Mutates from undreamt recombinant variety.

After all our world was created by fools
Thinking big.
