The world appears more interesting when you live more than half way to the pole. Different voices too.

A tribute to peace and my muse found in the dualism that drove a genius of the Renaissance.

Renaissance Ride

Land spreading out in all directions
glacial horizon defining the sky
the rising sun
powering the spirit wind for
prairie worship.

Wheels turning.
Breathing rhythmic.
Time suspended.

Motion harmonizing mind, body, and soul—
a symphony
performed on the genius of Leonardo.

I will be the featured poet at the Horse Barn Theatre on April 20, 7-9pm. I always like to have a bicycle theme in one or two of my poems for something like this. This might be a new one to add to my repertoire. I have also made a poster entitled Wired to Pythagoras of the pic I displayed here earlier. It can be found in January 18-24 archive. The proofs look really good.
