When scientists write poetry they often end up in the wrong place. One of Einsteins heros wrote them. Finally they all had to resort to mathematics to clarify their thoughts about what they were trying to say. So, I started with T & T' and got to this, which is to say, the line count got to 72 quite of its own accord.

There is lots of drivel about the number 72 but the finance Rule of 72 seems to have a crass appopriateness here, i.e. there is more.

This is about Ts
Alone in lower case
without the tail
A t could have been
Oh what might have been
a western religious symbol
But X out those possibilities
there is a tail
and the mention of TT-poon
don’t go there
This has to be about the pair
hereafter known as TT
(can you say “tease”)
TT became
more than
fore thoughts in golf
Devices used to drive
balls long and straight off of
put in your pocket
poke in the ground
leave your mark
beyond the bored room
herbal TT
and all similar insanities
Remember—

instead of improprieties

to set upon the page
to take away anonymities
In a word
don’t forget tease realities
the dependency on y
to sound like ee
the avoweled affinities
c & d, or g & p
not to mention
the co-dependencies
that v or z have
on the sound of e
when it is really y
that makes their names
come out loud and clear
but c is trying
to tell us how it too
has a special place
with t and TT
but if listen closed-ly
the final buzz comes
when we listen
for CC or TT parities
the z comes through
and with it
easy finalities.
