The world appears more interesting when you live more than half way to the pole. Different voices too.

The next place I ended up was the Salty Dreams Poetry Forum “Poems to Share” based on Brautigan’s work noted in the previous entry..

Fair Trade

http://plagiarist.com/poetry/?wid=99

He gave his last $20 to the streetwalker
for a blow job

Went home and wrote a poem
about love

He is not much of a lover
but he works cheap

or is it
just a passion for art.

This poem uses space to help communicate the message in the orginal, but that has been eliminated here. An example of what I to do with blank space is illustrated in the poem Carnivore Ritual posted on Grass & Gravel Times (the link is in the Poetry Links in the right column.

Fair Trade has gone on from there and has been a productive and rewarding exercise. Two more segments were added. Give the forum a try. The ezboard has all kinds of forums and a search engine to help you find your interest.

Question: What do you call a epigram that is just a web link? wepigram. It may work in a dislexicon.
